"Let all that you do be done in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:14
The What Would Ali Do Foundation honors the life and legacy of Aliyah Marie Waldon by continuing the way she lived—with kindness, generosity, compassion, and love.
Ali believed in giving of herself. Whether she was offering a gift, giving her time, listening to someone who needed an ear, or simply walking into a room and making someone feel better, she had a remarkable ability to bring light to others. Her friends called it a superpower.
After losing Ali to osteosarcoma at just 20 years old, we knew the greatest way to honor her was not simply to remember who she was, but to live the way she lived and give the way she gave.
The What Would Ali Do Foundation provides acts of kindness, meaningful support, and moments of joy to children and young adults, ages 1–25, facing serious medical challenges, mental health struggles, life-altering injuries, or other circumstances that could use a little extra hope.
Through gifts, encouragement, and personal acts of kindness, we strive to lighten someone's burden, remind them they are seen and valued, and bring a little light into some of their hardest days.
Inspired by Ali's life and her favorite verse, 1 Corinthians 16:14—"Let all that you do be done in love"—we believe that love is an action.
When someone needs help, hope, or simply a reason to smile, we ask ourselves one question:
What Would Ali Do?
And then we do it — with love!
Remembering Ali — daughter, teammate, friend, and light to everyone who knew her.
Every gift on this list becomes an act of kindness for a child or young adult facing a hard season — a small way to remind them they are seen, valued, and loved. Know someone who could use a little extra hope? Nominate them below.
Direct donation options (Venmo) are coming soon — check back for updates.
